I’m a storyteller through and through. Storytelling gives your brand space to build trust and authority with your audience. I’ve always said that if we have the courage to open ourselves up and share our heart and values, that vulnerability suddenly becomes our superpower.

It was Mark Twain who said “Write about what you know.” And I wholeheartedly agree. Write about your purpose, who you are and what your brand stands for and you’ll find your audience. In fact, you’ll find you’ve got many more chapters than you ever thought possible.

This starts with brand messaging and guidelines. I love to get to know brands and establish messaging frameworks and guidelines to keep communications on track across all your channels and touchpoints.

I also offer copywriting services and am able to offer this as a bespoke project or monthly retainer service.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Representation matters.

If we feel we have a voice, we’ve won half the battle. The other half is choosing how we use that voice. I choose it to be an advocate and ally for increasing diversity, equity and inclusion for brands.

And this often means challenging the status quo.

I’ve worked for some big corporate brands in establishing DE&I policies to be at the heart of what they do and ensuring this empowers customers and colleagues alike. From establishing a more diverse range of models for consumer photoshoots that actually represent the brand’s audience at Kenwood, to showcasing the amazing inclusion and belonging work of colleagues and launching LinkedIn Life to leverage employer branding at Places for People…this work makes my heart sing because it makes a difference.
